A playground made of recycled rubber and abstract shapes in Colera (Girona, Spain)

The town of Colera a few kilometres from the French border in the province of Girona, has created a highly original municipal playground with unusual abstract shapes on its safety surface of recycled continuous rubber.

The project, carried out by Benito’s Playground Equipment division, is designed to catch children’s attention, minimise the risk of injury in case of falls, and meet every age group’s play needs through a variety of components (swings, spring swings, slides, towers, etc.).

The playground equipment and surface were manufactured and installed in compliance with safety standards EN 1176 and EN 1177.
