BENITO is the new sponsor of Ramon Julián, the current World Climbing Champion. The signing of the agreement finished with a demonstration in the children’s rockodrome installed in BENITO’s showroom, with the participation of the children of the company’s employees.
Ramon Julián is 27 years old. His passion for climbing began at the age of 13 and his career has been marked by countless victories in Championship and Masters events in Spain, culminating in winning the World Championship title in the city of Avilés (Asturias) in 2007.
BENITO manufactures and commercialises urban equipment. It has recently enlarged its Sports Facilities range with children’s rockodromes (boulders), which are differentiated from other rockodromes in the market because they are for exterior spaces (parks, playgrounds, school yards, etc.)
Without a doubt, the most attractive feature of the new rockodrome is its shape. The boulders represent letters of the alphabet, in bright colours, easily identifiable by children. They are 2.3 metres high and are designed for children over 3 years of age to enjoy climbing in the open air and without the need for the conventional protective material that this sport requires, such as ropes. To reinforce the safety of the facility, it is recommended to install anti-fall rubber flooring.
The climbing panels are made of polyester fibre, a rustproof material, and the holds are made of polyester resin and fixed with rustproof bolts with an anti-theft system.
The new BENITO rockodrome has been created with a clearly-defined mission: to enlarge the leisure possibilities of public spaces.
