Artur Mas visits the Fundició Dúctil Benito site in Manlleu
On 16th January, Artur Mas, president of the Convergència i Unió federation of political parties, visited the Fundició Dúctil Benito site in Manlleu together with a group of business people from different sectors in Manlleu. Joaquim Carandell, the general manager of Benito, hosted the occasion.
Those present had a meeting where matters connected with the economic situation were discussed, and then Mr. Carandell presented Artur Mas with a sculpture. Representing the business sector were Joan Contijoch, Francesc Altarriba, Miquel Altimiras, Joan Rovira, Llucià Pujadas, Jordi Sala, Josep Pujadas, Joan Estrada and Xavier Brussosa. There were also representatives of the world of politics, specifically Ramon Espadaler, Josep Salom and Josep Maria Matas.
Later in the day, Joaquim Carandell met Artur Mas once more, this time at Vic town hall, together with business people from the Osona region.
