Juan Navarro Baldeweg is an architect, painter and sculptor internationally recognised for a career that integrates architecture, art and contemporary thought through a vision deeply sensitive to light, space and context. Trained at the Madrid School of Architecture, where he also served as Professor of Architectural Design, his work is characterised by an interdisciplinary approach linking architecture, perception and sensory experience.

Throughout his career, he has developed an outstanding professional, academic and artistic activity, teaching at international universities such as Yale, Princeton, Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania. His architectural work has been widely recognised and associated with key figures of contemporary architecture such as Álvaro Siza and Rafael Moneo, establishing him as one of the most influential voices in contemporary Spanish architecture.

In addition to his architectural work, he has maintained an intense activity as a painter and sculptor, exploring the relationship between matter, light and space through different creative languages. Among the many recognitions he has received are the Heinrich Tessenow Gold Medal, the Architecture Medal, and his appointment as a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando and the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.
