The DEFENDER high security bollard is our first bollard to be impact tested to ASTM 2656-23 (M50 rating), successfully withstanding a 6,800 kg vehicle at 80 km/h (50 mph). The DEFENDER achieved fantastic results, remaining operational even after being impacted by such a large vehicle. The DEFENDER is hydraulically operated and is capable of performing a high number of operations per hour. It can be integrated with existing and additional security measures. Designed for installation on public roads and security critical applications (government buildings, airports, tourist areas, high traffic flow sites), it offers unrivalled protection anywhere in the world. The DEFENDER range is designed to offer maximum protection with a sleek aesthetic, with a diameter of 275mm and a thickness of 25mm, and different heights available: 900mm, 1000mm and 1200mm above ground level.
