Today, energy consumption is a priority for cities around the world. For years, many cities have started adapting and replacing old lighting fixtures with LED technology. This transition not only helps reduce light pollution but also allows for significant energy savings, reducing consumption by up to 80%.
The city of Castelldefels, near Barcelona, has been one of the first to embrace this change. Recently, the city renovated its roundabouts with Ciclo and Deco LED projectors, improving both energy efficiency and road safety.
The Ciclo projectors have been installed in the ground, illuminating the roundabout decorations to highlight their design and enhance their aesthetics. Additionally, a light point with Deco projectors has been placed in the center of each roundabout, designed to properly illuminate vehicles, ensuring safe circulation at night and improving visibility at all times.
