Our Bicycle Racks MODULAR has been selected for the Delta Awards 2026, within the Outdoor Equipment category, a recognition that highlights industrial design applied to public space .
Urban design plays an increasingly important role in the transformation of cities. It not only defines the image of public space, but also contributes to improving its functionality, adaptability, and the daily experience of the people who use it.
In this context, we at BENITO URBAN are especially excited to announce that our Bicycle Racks MODULAR has been selected for the Delta Awards 2026, within the Outdoor Equipment category.
Organized by ADI-FAD, the Industrial Design Association of the Promotion of Arts and Design, the Delta Awards are one of the leading recognitions in the field of industrial design in Spain. In this 43rd edition, the awards revert to their original name, with which they were established in 1961, reinforcing their historical significance and their role within design culture.
The 2026 edition brings together 203 selected projects from 422 submitted proposals, including professional products, student projects, and initiatives linked to design culture. All of them will be part of the Delta Awards 2026 exhibition, which will open on July 22nd at the Disseny Hub Barcelona, where the winning projects will also be announced.
MODULAR: designed for more organized urban mobility
The Bicycle Racks MODULAR was created to respond to an increasingly present need in cities: to integrate bicycle parking solutions that are functional, flexible and capable of adapting to different configurations of public space.
Its design allows for the creation of compositions according to the needs of each project, facilitating the implementation of bicycle parking areas in streets, squares, facilities, stations or high-traffic urban environments.
Beyond its function, MODULAR proposes a more efficient way to integrate cycling into the city. Its modular nature allows the solution to be adapted to the available space, optimizing capacity and promoting an orderly use of the urban environment.
Design at the service of public space
The selection of MODULAR for the Delta Awards 2026 represents a recognition of the value of design as a tool to improve the city.
At BENITO URBAN, we understand urban design as a combination of functionality, durability, aesthetic integration, and responsiveness to people's real needs. In the case of MIn short, these principles apply to an increasingly important element in urban planning: safe and orderly bicycle parking.
Promoting sustainable mobility requires adequate infrastructure. That's why solutions like MODULAR help facilitate the everyday use of bicycles and create more accessible, efficient public spaces that are better suited to new mobility habits.
Being part of the selection for the Delta Awards 2026 is an opportunity to continue highlighting the role of urban equipment within contemporary industrial design.
