New park in Santa Cristina d'Aro with ALU games, climbing wall inspired by Pedralta, geo-candles, Fence ReBnew and inclusive areas for families.
Need / Problem: The environment of the new library required a safe, inclusive children's space connected with nearby public facilities.
Solution: Creation of a children's park with ALU games, themed climbing wall, Shade Areas , furniture and elements made with sustainable materials.
Result: A new family meeting point is created, integrated with the library, the municipal school, and the Cycle Lane .
In Santa Cristina d'Aro (Girona) the new Library Park has been inaugurated, located next to the new municipal library, between Joan Casas i Arxer and Pere Geronès streets.
The park incorporates children's play equipment from the ALU line, such as ALU 6 and ALU 7 , along with multi-play elements, an adapted Swing , and inclusive Springs swings , creating a space designed for different ages and abilities.
One of the most unique elements of the project is the climbing wall inspired by Pedralta , a natural and scenic symbol of the municipality, which reinforces the local identity of the space.
The project is completed with geotextile fabrics to create shade, native vegetation, a Corc fountain , Picco ReBnew Litter Bins , and fencing made from ReBnew material, providing sustainability, safety, and comfort.
The result is an inclusive, functional park, connected to its surroundings, designed to support the daily lives of children and families.
