The Ciempiés Table, a project by Benito Urban and H3O Architects, promotes inclusion and socialization in public spaces through an accessible and sustainable serpentine table, made with ReBnew.

The Ciempiés Table is a joint project designed by H3O Architects and produced by Benito Urban, conceived to promote socialization and inclusivity in public spaces through a large urban table. With a capacity for 50 people, its meandering structure integrates naturally with the environment, embracing trees and creating shaded spaces that invite conviviality. The design combines benches, stools and free areas, allowing users to bring their own chairs and offering an accessible solution for people with reduced mobility, adapting to all kinds of situations.

Made of thermo-lacquered steel and Rebnew recycled material, it stands out for its durability and environmental commitment. This design redefines street furniture, combining functionality, sustainability and landscaping to transform underutilized spaces into outdoor meeting and coexistence points.

H3o Architects, based in Barcelona and formed by Adrià Orriols, Joan Gener and Miquel Ruiz, specializes in designing spaces that foster connections between people, environments and nature.

Their work combines creativity and theoretical reflection, addressing contemporary challenges such as sustainability, climate change and social responsibility. Their projects explore the intersection between practice and fantasy. They transform everyday spaces into shared and enjoyable places. Their projects include the refurbishment of Montjuïc Castle, the Arenys de Mar library, 155 dwellings in the port of Rotterdam (Europan 15 Award) and a residence in Menorca. Recently, they received the Best of Spain 2024 award from AD Magazine for their innovative approach to architecture.
