Transformation of Sant Salvador Avenue in Badalona into a green pedestrian axis, featuring specially designed VERMUT furniture that encourages staying and everyday use.
Need / Issue: The space required transformation to prioritise pedestrians, introduce seating areas, and strengthen the presence of vegetation.
Solution: Redevelopment as a green axis and incorporation of specially designed urban furniture adaptable to different uses.
Result: A more liveable, flexible space focused on the citizen experience is created.
Sant Salvador Avenue in Badalona has been transformed into a new green axis that redefines public space, prioritising pedestrians and incorporating seating areas within a more naturalised environment.
In this context, BENITO URBAN has participated in the installation of urban furniture in collaboration with Fabric Studio Arquitectes, where the specially designed VERMUT chair plays a key role as an element for everyday use.
Its design, based on a metal structure and clean lines, allows for open and flexible configurations, adapting to urban dynamics and encouraging both rest and interaction.
The project highlights how urban furniture not only accompanies but actively contributes to shaping the spatial experience, consolidating a more accessible, comfortable environment aligned with new urban models.
