In the PLAY AREA there must be a clearly visible sign (pictogram, graphic symbol) that includes the following information:
- General emergency telephone number
- System or method for contacting maintenance personnel (telephone, email, web)
- Name of the play area
- Play area address or GPS location
- Other locally relevant information, if applicable.
Minimum information on the sign according to EN16630:2015
In the FITNESS ELEMENTS AREA there must be an information sign (pictogram, graphic symbol) that includes the following information:
- Equipment intended only for young or adult users who measure more than 1.40m
- Read and follow the instructions marked on the equipment
- Before using the equipment, the user must take into account his or her medical suitability.
- Excessive effort should be avoided during use of the equipment.
- General emergency telephone number
- System or method for contacting maintenance personnel (telephone, email, web)
- Facility area address or GPS location
Minimum information on the sign according to EN14974:2019
In the SKATE ELEMENTS AREA, one or more clear and visible signs must be provided that provide the following information:
a) the facility for users of skateboards, inline skates and BMX bikes (with the name or information of the place);
b) the administrator's identification with the maintenance staff's telephone number and a general number for emergency calls;
c) the facility is not a playground. Its use is reserved for adults, adolescents, and children over 8 years of age;
d) the use of inappropriate equipment such as normal touring bicycles, motorized equipment or toys is not permitted;
e) the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g. helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, etc.) is recommended;
f) pay attention to other users;
g) the rolling surfaces and elements of the skatepark are not waiting areas and must be kept clear of objects;
h) the facility must not be used when wet or in icy or snowy conditions.
