Renewal of urban lighting on Buen Pastor Street in San Fernando (Cádiz) with hybrid MILAN SOLAR luminaires, improving energy efficiency and public space lighting.
Need / Issue: The area required an efficient, sustainable lighting solution resistant to demanding environmental conditions.
Solution: Installation of SIENA columns with hybrid MILAN SOLAR 30W luminaires and urban furniture made from recycled material.
Result: Improved lighting quality, energy efficiency, and public space comfort.
On Buen Pastor Street in San Fernando (Cádiz), the urban lighting system has been renovated through the installation of more than 85 SIENA columns equipped with hybrid MILAN SOLAR 30W luminaires.
These luminaires operate with autonomous hybrid technology, reducing dependence on the electrical grid thanks to durable, high-autonomy LiFePO4 batteries. They also integrate a presence sensor and programmable charge controller, enabling smart lighting management and optimising energy consumption according to real environmental needs.
The intervention is complemented by Citizen ECO benches and GEA litter bins, manufactured with 100% recyclable ReBnew material. Installed along the promenade, they create rest areas and contribute to space maintenance, offering high resistance to salinity and weather conditions, especially suitable for maritime environments.
A project combining technology, sustainability, and durability to modernise urban space.
