Result: A more comfortable, liveable environment prepared for outdoor use throughout the year has been created.
In Barr, in the Grand Est region (France), the transformation of the former Camping Saint Martin into a future city park is underway, recovering this space as a new area for social interaction and public use.
As part of this renovation, DIEDRIK climate shelters have been installed to create shaded areas, resting spaces and climate protection integrated into the park landscape. Made of wood and featuring an open and lightweight structure, these elements create small gathering areas that improve thermal comfort and encourage social interaction.
Their design combines solar protection, natural ventilation and integrated furniture, creating more pleasant spaces to stay and enjoy the outdoor environment.
The intervention responds to the need to adapt public spaces to new climate challenges by incorporating urban solutions that improve wellbeing and urban liveability.
